BOY SCOUT ATHLETE PROFICIENCY BADGE

Proficiency badge for scouts produced 1934 -1967. This badge was removed from uniform along with an early naturlist badge and so would have been issued in the earlier part of this period. Red woven athlete surrounded by green and the boy scouts name. It has a white canvas like backing and can easily be removed completely from the uniform cloth as it is loosely stitched.
